A beautiful set of 3 Art cards by artist Heather Simmonds who sadly died of pancreatic cancer. This set of exquisite cards feature a selection of her coastal scenes including The Needles, Lyme Regis and Whitby.

More about the artist: Heather Simmonds (1934 – 2012). Despite exceptional early talent, Heather did not have the opportunity to further an artistic career for much of her life. However, a chance meeting with David Haycraft in 1987 led to a collaboration lasting over twenty years. In this time more than 700 watercolour prints became widespread across Southern England. Sadly in 2012 Heather died of pancreatic cancer.
David remarked ‘never before had I seen such detailed composition that blended mood and atmosphere at a glance.’ He has sought to keep Heather’s artistic legacy alive by making her art available. David has made a collection of Heather’s beautiful paintings available as cards for Pancreatic Cancer UK. We have selected a range of scenes for wide appeal across England that Heather loved to paint.
